Maxi-Cosi’s FamilyFix One i-Size works perfectly with the Rock, Pearl Smart i-Size, or Pearl One i-Size, providing you with an easy-to-use Click & Go installation. It fits both baby and toddler car seats, enabling long-time use.

Installation

More and more cars in Europe have ISOFIX connectors, so your car will most likely have them as well. Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix One i-Size attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchorage points for a safe fit. Our user manual tells you exactly how to connect the ISOFIX base to your car, step bystep.

Once installed, you can leave the FamilyFix One i-Size in the car. This way, every time you need to get in and out of the car, the baby car seat is fitted onto the base with a simple secure “click”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat is correctly installed, and you are ready to “go”.

Keep using our FamilyFix One i-Size, even when your little one outgrows their baby car seat and is ready for a toddler car seat, such as the Pearl Smart i-Size or Pearl One i-Size.

The FamilyFix One i-Size can be installed in combination with the Rock baby car seat, and the Pearl Smart i-Size or Pearl One i-Size toddler car seats.

At Maxi-Cosi we have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. External crash test centres, such as the German automobile organisation ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club), regularly test our Maxi-Cosi car seats and bases on dynamic safety and ease of use.

When ADAC tested our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix One i-Size and Rock, they rated them as above-average for safety and ease of use. After having undergone extensive testing for frontal and side impact protection, our car seat and base received excellent scores on safety. Using the ISOFIX base is recommended for your baby car seat’s swift and easy installation in your car.

Experts recommend that your little one travel in a rear-facing position for up to 4 years, because this offers enhanced head and neck protection. For this same reason we, at Maxi-Cosi, recommend that your toddler travel in this position for as long as your little one fits the toddler seat. Besides, the ability to use the ISOFIX base for up to 4 years offers you great value.
